How Charlies Drawings works

 

So many of you may have been on my Facebook page for a while, maybe considering about ordering a personalised caricature? Well here is a quick blog to tell you what to expect along the way.

How to Order

So step one, the easiest and clearest way to order is on our website www.charliesdrawings.com, here you will see a variety of styles and options to choose. Once you’ve chosen, simply process the order online.

 

How long to wait

We set a timeline of 10 to 12 days for the artwork to be complete, we have a 99% success rate on this timeline. Many are done well before hand, and only in extreme circumstances there may be a slight delay on this timeline.

In this time please make sure you check your emails, as this is where your image will be sent too. Many people have messaged saying they haven’t got there drawing and its been sat in the Junk email folder all along.

 

Whats next

Now for people that have ordered a Canvas, that will be sent via My Hermes postal service. All our Canvas Mail is tracked , so if any problems we can locate your parcel easily. Tracking information available on request.

 

For Prints, these are sent via Royal Mail Signed For, again a very secure service, they don’t have up to date tracking but they will always require a signature to be received. Again a few people say they never receive these and they are in the Royal Mail sorting station, keep a look out for the red slip through the door if your not in.

 

All other printable items are sent via royal mail and are usually delivered with 2 to 3 business days.

 

What happens in you love your drawing?

If your happy with your order, I ask if you could upload your picture on our Facebook page, this allows other customers to see the work I’ve created. Without the help of you lovely people, this all wouldn’t be possible.

 

What happens if you don’t like your drawing??

Well lucky enough this doesn’t happen very often, however if there is a problem its important to know how to deal with it. Now as in our terms and conditions we run a strict No Refund policy, so no refunds on the artwork will be given. This is because the Artwork has already been drawn, and the time has been spent. This is a common practice for personalised gifts as they cannot be resold.

 

However, unlike other companies we do offer an edit option, now its important for you to tell us what the problem is. The most common reason for an edit is that customers sometimes don’t upload the best photos of their loved ones. We can only draw from what we are given so take time in choosing your photos. We will work with you to get every picture resolved, however if you have no specific request in your complaint that makes it incredibly hard to edit. For example saying things like… ‘The persons nose needs to be smaller, eyes not quite the right colour’ Is 100 times more helpful then… I don’t like it.
